The Welling Court Mural Project began after Jonathan Ellis, representing members of the Welling Court community, met at Ad Hoc Art’s Bushwick gallery, and invited Ad Hoc to help envision a way to beautify their neighborhood. 

Now in its 9th year, it just keeps getting better! Join us Saturday June 9th from 12pm-8pm for a block party and a ton of great art, all FREE.

Directions -> Take the N or W to 30th Avenue in Astoria and walk or take the bus west towards the water. You’ll find us all there.

Victor “Kid Glyde” Alicia and his Dynamic Rockers will to demonstrating old and new school breaking techniques. DJ’s will be spinning on the wheels of steel, and there will be music and dancing.

Chateau le Woof is keeping us hydrated with coffe and specialty drinks. Bring your dog, you’re both totally welcome!
